Pike with sauce De.Co. in a jar
With my friend Stefano from fishmonger’s Corallo in Valeggio sul Mincio, we have developed a project by making Pike with sauce De.Co inside a jar, to be able to promote this dish. With this project we are active promoters, so much so that we also participate in international fairs such as FICO in Bologna and Vinitaly in Verona.
We continue the territorial promotion of pike with sauce also during the occasion of the homonymous “Festival of pike with sauce” in Pozzolo sul Mincio which is celebrated for the nativity of Maria, on 8th September.
Unfortunately, pike is less and less present in our waters and to meet the needs of local gastronomy it is necessary to import it from northern Europe or Canada.
